Lynette Tan, Singapore Space & Technology Ltd and Space Faculty, Singapore

Lynette is the Chief Executive of the Singapore Space and Technology Limited (SSTL). With 20 years of management and business development experience, Lynette identifies new opportunities and develops effective ways for government, companies, and individuals to partake in the growing space industry. She is managing Partner of the Space-Based Accelerator based out of Singapore, an exclusive programme with the Singapore government that assists early stage, deep tech, space start-ups.

She is the founder of Space Faculty, a space education training provider for all ages, especially from emerging countries and lower income family. She is also a founding member of Women In Aerospace.

Her work experience includes a management position in the M&A division in a global pharmaceutical company. She was awarded the Asia Pacific President Award and the GSK Spirit award.  She worked in the Singapore government service as centre director in the Asia Pacific team and was actively involved a variety of industry sectors including the automotive, mining, digital media and pharmaceutical.

Lynette received her Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Stanford.

Roland Mathys, Schellenberg Wittmer Ltd, Switzerland

Roland Mathys is an attorney-at-law and partner at Schellenberg Wittmer Ltd in Zurich/Switzerland where he heads the firm's technology and data law team. He studied law and computer science in Basel and Zurich and holds an LL.M. in technology law from the London School of Economics (LSE). In his practice, he regularly advises and represents clients on, among other things, large IT and outsourcing projects, cloud and XaaS projects, Swiss and EU data protection law, legal issues relating to digital platforms and new technologies, and cybersecurity. Katharina Lasota Heller, LEXcellence AG, Switzerland

Dr. Katharina Lasota Heller has over 20 years of experience in IT, IP, and FinTech law. Founding Partner of LEXcellence –Swiss Law Firm in Baar (Zug). President of Swiss-Polish Blockchain Association. Dr. Lasota deals with issues related to Blockchain, FinTech, NFTs, and Metaverse on daily basis. As visiting professor at Kozminski University in Warsaw and HSLU in Lucerne she lectures on Blockchain, IP and Technology Law; an attorney at law admitted to practice in Switzerland and in Poland. Kasia received a doctoral degree in 2003 from Ludwig Maximilian University; as a scholar of the Max-Planck Institute in Munich. She is an alumnus of McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento California, where she finished her LL.M. Studies in 2004. Over the years, she has worked for several large law firms in Munich, Warsaw, and Vienna. Between 2010 and 2015 led a global compliance program of a South African Company and was President of EDiMA. Ole Horsfeldt, Gorrissen Federspiel, Denmark

Ole Horsfeldt started out as a general commercial lawyer, but over the past 25 years he has become an outsourcing lawyer specialised in outsourcing of IT requirements, business processes, and facility services. Today, Ole heads up Gorrissen Federspiel's Digital Business practice. The team are among the most highly specialised outsourcing advisers on a global scale. Oles' advice typically involves agreements with a regional or global reach and covers more than just "the agreement" or the legal terms. His mission statement is to make outsourcing successful for buyers of services. Ole is well-known for managing complex outsourcing transactions through combining legal, compliance, operational, and strategic perspectives. To Ole, client enablement is paramount. Therefore, his advice is designed to support clients in managing and reaping the benefits from outsourcing. Ole has been the architect behind concepts such as proactive remedies, co-operation agreements, the "deliver first, settle later" principle, and fast track dispute resolution, which have contributed to setting the standard for modern outsourcing in the Nordic countries. In all of Ole's work, the element of continuous improvement plays an important role. Julia Murray, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Singapore

Julia Murray is a legal and business executive with over 17 years’ experience advising on commercial and regulatory issues and leading technology megadeals. Julia has held regional general counsel roles with technology and media organisations, and managed legal teams throughout the APJC region. She has served on executive leadership teams to develop strategic operational plans, and engaged with regulators to shape emerging policies. Anup is also a Certified Corporate Director as certified by the Institute of Directors and Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. By virtue of this, he conducts regular workshops on Directors' Liability and Indemnification. Being a faculty member of ICSI he is called on to speak at various training programs, masterclass, and conferences. He has co-authored the India section of the book on Directors' Liability and Indemnification: A Global Guide, published by Global Law and Business-a UK publishing house. For the period from 2018 to 2021 Anup has contributed to the India section of the 'Doing Business Report' published by the World Bank Group. Anup has been awarded by the Former President of India Shri. K.R. Narayanan, which is considered to be the highest award in The Bharat Scouts and Guides.

Linda is a recovering Silicon Valley lawyer turned Singapore ecosystem builder, who leverages her diverse background to advocate for and empower start-ups, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, and local communities. At German Entrepreneurship Asia, she is Director of the AI Competence Center and Head of Ecosystem & Partnerships. She was most recently Program Head of Ecosystem Development at the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore (NUS Enterprise). She led the cybersecurity innovation initiatives for the region’s first cybersecurity entrepreneur hub. And prior to that, she was COO of legal tech start-up, FirstCOUNSEL, to transform legal support for early-stage start-ups and SMEs.

Pietro Fringuelli, CMS, Germany

Pietro Graf Fringuelli is partner at CMS and co-head of the CMS Technology, Media and Communications sector group. In this role, he leads a team of over 650 lawyers. Described as "the most innovative and strategically thinking expert on the market" in the media sector (Client quote, The Legal 500, 2022), Pietro is particularly experienced in the structuring of digital business models, broadcasting law and online advertising issues for e-commerce and digital businesses. He has been especially active in advising on copyright issues arising from the acquisition and exploitation of IP rights via new technologies, such as streaming services. Sought after for his deep experience in the field of gaming and esports, Pietro has been the Chairman of the Executive Board of the World ESports Association (WESA) since 2018. His clients include numerous game publishers and gaming platform operators, as well as more traditional sporting organisations such as the Bundesliga and German Basketball League. Pietro and his team have won several awards for their capabilities in the field of media, including a 2017 FT Innovative Lawyer award for their work advising on the establishment of WESA. He was previously a member of the Media Commission of the Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia (LfM) and Associate Professor for media law at the IFS in Cologne. Pietro joined CMS in 2001 and has been a partner since 2006.

Pádraig Walsh leads the TMT Practice at the Hong Kong law firm, Tanner De Witt. Laurence Liew, AI Singapore, Singapore

Laurence is the Director for AI Innovation at AI Singapore and is driving the adoption of AI by the Singapore ecosystem through the 100 Experiments and the AI Apprenticeship programmes. A visionary and serial technopreneur, he identified and introduced Singapore's enterprises to Linux and open source (1999), High Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster (2001), Grid Computing (2003), Cloud Computing (2007) and Data Science with R (2011) amongst others. Laurence graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with First Class Honours in Engineering and holds a Masters in Knowledge Engineering from NUS.

Social impact organizations have a key role to play in bridging the gap and delivering the promise. Alongside, there is a need to adopt a holistic and socially driven optics for financing these organizations and measuring the return on investment. APAC region in the last few decades has seen a surge in social impact investments, more specifically into organizations that deploy and innovate tech tools for their impact journeys. Social impact investment funds come with an explicit expectation of a measurable social and financial return, but a lot needs to be augmented to sustain the momentum. In this I-WIN session, our speakers would share their stories, and talk about the trends, challenges and opportunities for impact investment in Tech4Good.

Susan Barty is a past president of ITechLaw, a member of ITechLaw's Advisory Board and for over 25 years was a partner in the Technology and IP team at CMS in London, specialising in dispute resolution, particularly in the Technology, Advertising and Marketing, and Media sectors. Susan has acted for both suppliers and customers in Technology disputes and has advised on numerous-high profile IT matters, with particular experience in the interaction between IP and IT issues. Susan is also a past Chair of the ITechLaw AI Substantive Law Committee, a contributing author of Responsible AI: A Global Policy Framework and co-editor of ITechLaw's Responsible AI: A Global Policy Framework 2021 Update and Responsible AI: The EU AIA: Green Paper Policy Analysis. Before her corporate philanthropy journey, Marija spent five years in AIESEC Serbia, the world’s largest youth-run nonprofit, which focuses on developing the leadership potential of young people through experiential learning, volunteer experiences, and professional internships. She served AIESEC in various functions, including as president of the AIESEC chapter in Serbia and vice president of external relations.
