REGISTRATION

  • To register for the conference, please visit the registration page.
  • Italians must register with a valid Italian VAT and Fiscal Code Number. With this information, Italians will not be charged VAT on the payment page of registration.

Does the hotel provide transportation to/from the airport or train station?

Yes, you may reserve a transfer to/from the Central Train Station, City Center, Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio when you make your hotel reservation. Pricing starts at € 45 each way (price subject to change).

BADGE QUESTIONS

I have registered for the conference but would like to make changes to my name on my badge. How do I do this?

Your meeting badge will be created using the name and affiliation information submitted in your registration. If you would like to change the information on your badge, you may do so online via our registration system with your username and password set up during the registration process, or contact memberservices@itechlaw.org for assistance.

Alternatively, you may request a new badge onsite at the ITechLaw 2018 European Conference at the conference registration desk.

DRESS CODE

What is the dress code for the ITechLaw 2018 European Conference?

Business attire is encouraged for all meetings and events at the ITechLaw 2018 European Conference. At the Gala Reception and Dinner, for which tickets must be purchased separately during the registration process, black tie attire is strongly encouraged; however, cocktail or business attire is also acceptable.

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUESTS

Will there be vegetarian or other dietary meal options at the Conference and Gala Dinner?

Yes. Vegetarian options will be made available at the Welcome Reception and lunch buffets. At the Gala Dinner, vegetarian options can be made available upon request. Please note your dietary requirements during the online registration process, or contact memberservices@itechlaw.org in advance with your request and dietary restrictions (kosher, gluten-free, etc.).

I would like to explore Milan while I am there. Where can I find out more information?

INTERNET ACCESS

Will I have Internet access while at the conference?

Complimentary wireless access will be available throughout the two conference days. The internet cost in your hotel room is included in your guestroom rate if you are staying at the conference hotel.

The City of Milan provides open Wi-Fi throughout the city. The service is available both in public buildings (indoor) and outside (outdoor), in various piazzas and streets. The indoor service is currently called Free Wi-Fi indoor (Wi-Fi public offices) while the outdoor service is called Open Wi-Fi Milano. Additional information may be found here.

Do I need a visa for entry into Italy?

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has a website that allows you to put in your country of origin, residency, and length of stay to determine whether a visa is required. You may visit their website at http://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/home/en.
