Webinar: High-Risk AI Under the Microscope: Comparing Regulatory Approaches in Europe, the UK, Southeast Asian and Latin America

Join us on 24 August 2026 for this webinar 4pm to 5:30pm CEST / 7am to 8:30am PDT. Registration is Full!

As jurisdictions worldwide race to regulate artificial intelligence, the treatment of “high-risk” AI systems has become the central battleground — determining which obligations apply, to whom, and how strictly. This webinar offers a practical, comparative look at how distinct regulatory models are addressing high-risk AI.

Drawing on real-world compliance experience, we will examine how certain regions define and classify “high-risk” AI systems, what obligations attach (conformity assessments, transparency, human oversight, registration), and how enforcement and liability are structured. The session will last from 4 p.m. until 5.30  p.m. CET and is moderated by Sonja Dürager (chair of the AI committee), https://www.bpv-huegel.com/en/jurist/dr-sonja-duerager-ll-m-it-law/
