Electronic Data Service Interference. Washington Code prohibits a person from “maliciously and without authorization caus[ing] the transmission of data, data program, or other electronic command that intentionally interrupts or suspends access to or use of a data network or data service.” Wash. Rev. Code § 9A.90.060.
Spoofing. Washington Code prohibits a person from “without authorization, knowingly initiat[ing] the transmission, display[ing], or recei[ving] the identifying information of another organization or person for the purpose of gaining unauthorized access to electronic data, a data system, or a data network” with the intent to commit another cybercrime. Wash. Rev. Code § 9A.90.070.
