30. To what extent are your national courts willing to consider, or bound by, the opinions of other national or foreign courts that have handed down decisions in similar cases?
Survey Answer:

Neither Uruguayan courts nor the administrative authorities (such as the URCDP) are bound in any way by other jurisdictions´ resolutions.

However, the URCDP frequently considers the Spanish Regulator’s positions in cases that are not specifically foreseen under Uruguayan Law.
