Sweden
There are no provisions under Swedish criminal law which specifically concerns the faking of technical documentations and/or data.
However, "document" forgery in general is regarded as a criminal offence under Chapter 14, Section 1 of the Swedish Penal Code. The term "document" under Chapter 14, Section 1 of the Swedish Penal Code is to be considered as including a protocol, contract, promissory note, certificate or other record established as evidence or otherwise important as evidence and also an identification card, ticket or similar evidential token. A "document" may therefore be an electronic/technical document, or a non-electronic document. Violations are punishable by fines or imprisonment not exceeding a term of 2 years, or if the crime is gross, to imprisonment for at least six months and at most six years. If the crime is regarded as petty a fine or imprisonment for at most six months shall be imposed instead.
