• The key legislation is the Computer Misuse Act 1990 (“CMA”), which was substantially amended by the Police and Justice Act 2006 and the Serious Crime Act 2015. In terms of providing legislation which does not provide specific cyber offences but is nonetheless applied in the prosecution of cybercrime (see Others below).
