The following penal provision related to computer fraud is set out in Norwegian Law:
Section 201 of the Penal Code. The unauthorized production, procurement, sale, use or distribution of a computer program or device which is suitable for the purpose of committing a criminal offence, with the intent that it be used for the purpose of committing a criminal offence, is punishable by fines or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 1 year under section 201 of the Penal code.
