3.2 Which authorities are responsible for enforcing the regulations under 3 and 3.1? What kind of legal instruments / rights are they furnished with (fines, audit/investigation rights, etc.)?
Survey Answer:

a. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Has powers under the enabling Act to perform investigations on related economic crimes, search premises, carry out arrests and prosecute individuals who are found guilty under the Act
b. The Nigerian Police (Special Fraud Unit); Have the power to arrest and carry out investigations in any fraud related case.
c. The Courts of Law (High court, Federal high court); Power to issue warrants and try offenders and issue sentences to guilty parties.
