a. Section 12 of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related Offences Act 2006 states that, any person or entity providing an electronic communication service or remote computing service either by e-mail or any other form shall be required to obtain from the customer or subscriber his personal information including full names and addresses.
b. Guidelines for The Provision of Internet Service Published by The Nigerian Communications Commission: It is specified that ISPs must generally cooperate with all law enforcement and regulatory agencies investigating cybercrime or other illegal activity by providing contact details, which must include one or more means of contacting the identified individual outside of normal business hours
