A Privacy Notice shall be disclosed to the data subject prior to the collection process.
The Privacy Notice has to include at least, the following: i) identity and address of the data collector; ii) purpose for collecting personal data; iii) storage methods (including means implemented to limit the disclosure of use of data); iv) transfer of personal data; v) mechanisms to exercise data subject’s rights (access, correction, cancellation and opposition); vi) information regarding sensitive personal data, if any; and vii) procedure by means of which the Privacy Notice may be modified.
Electronic, optical and other technologies are acceptable as methods for communicating and/or accepting the Privacy Notice.
