There is no such specific offence defined in the Criminal Law. However, it could be qualified as a criminal offence under Article 177 (fraud) or 1771 (fraud in an automated data processing system) of the Criminal Law.
According to Article 177 of the Criminal Law it is considered as criminal offence when a person commits acquiring property of another, or of rights to such property, by the use, in bad faith, of trust, or by deceit (fraud).
According to Article 1771 of the Criminal Law it is a criminal offence for a person to knowingly enter false data into an automated data processing system for the acquisition of the property of another person or the rights to such property, or the acquisition of other material benefits, in order to influence the operation of the resources thereof (computer fraud).
