According to Article 1771 of the Criminal Law it is a criminal offence for a person to knowingly enter false data into an automated data processing system for the acquisition of the property of another person or the rights to such property, or the acquisition of other material benefits, in order to influence the operation of the resources thereof (computer fraud). Computer fraud could also possibly be qualified under Article 243(3) of the Criminal Law.
