Law No. 63 of 2015 regarding combating Computer Technology Related Crimes (the “Cyber Crime Law”) provides a penalty of imprisonment for a period that does not exceed six months and a fine that is not less than five hundred Dinars or either of these two penalties, for any person who commits an illegal entry into a computer or its system or a data electronic processing system or an automated electronic system, or an information network. Further, the Cyber Crime Law provides for stricter penalties in aggravating circumstances.
