In Italy nonbinding organizations/alliances don’t exist, but it’s opportune to mention the most important agencies dealing with IT – Security which are the following:
- Agency for Digital Italy: The main purpose of the Agency is to guarantee the achievement of the Italian digital agenda objectives and contribute to the diffusion of information and communication technologies, with the aim of fostering innovation and economic growth. The Agency manage the activities of the Public Administration CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team).
- Italy’s Intelligence System for the Security of the Republic is the collective name given to the authorities and organizations responsible for intelligence policies, intelligence coordination and intelligence operations. This Agency National Strategic defines the framework for cyberspace security and the National Plan for Cyberspace Protection and ICT Security that outline Italy’s cyber security strategy.
