2.2 Which authorities are responsible for enforcing the regulations under 2 and 2.1? What kind of legal instruments / rights are they furnished with (fines, audit/investigation rights, etc.)?
Survey Answer:

In addition to applicable federal regulation, the Idaho attorney general is primarily responsible for enforcing data breach violations in Idaho. Entities licensed by either the Idaho Department of Finance or Department of Insurance are regulated by those respective agencies. Idaho Code § 28-51-104(6).
