03. Is there any bill of law related to data protection in your jurisdiction? If yes, is it new pending legislation, or pending modifications to existing legislation. If the latter, please explain the scope of any modifications to current regulations.
Survey Answer:

Yes, currently there are three bills of law in discussion in the Legislature. Two of the bills are similar and are oriented with GDPR dispositions mostly, but the extraterritorial aspect. The third is simpler and is oriented to basic dispositions such as assurance of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition rights. All the bills of law need a lot of adjustments to be in accordance with Salvadoran reality.
