03. Is there any bill of law related to data protection in your jurisdiction? If yes, is it new pending legislation, or pending modifications to existing legislation. If the latter, please explain the scope of any modifications to current regulations.
Survey Answer:

Yes, there is currently a Bill being discussed in Congress, which means to update the current legislation in order to comply with the commitments made by Chile when entering the OECD, establishing tools to enforce the data holders' rights, create a Data Protection Authority, and make Chile a Safe-Harbor country for international data transfer.
