Will Johnson is an Assistant General Counsel at Verizon, with a focus on federal regulatory issues related to broadband, video and other emerging services. Will has represented Verizon in numerous proceedings before the Federal Communication Commission and in various courts of appeal concerning the appropriate regulatory treatment of these services. Among others, he has worked on proceedings addressing the proper regulatory classification of wireline broadband Internet access services, proposals to impose Internet regulation on broadband providers, and the removal of traditional common carrier rules from enterprise broadband services.
