Matthew Murphy's areas of specialization include Intellectual Property Law, Technology, Mergers & Acquisitions and Taxation.  Prior to his joining the MMLC Group, he was a Senior Associate, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Hong Kong and London); an Associate, Simmons & Simmons (Hong Kong); and a Solicitor, Allens Arthur Robinson (Australia).

Mr. Murphy's education includes an LL.M degree (IP and Chinese Law) from the University of Queensland and HKU, an LL.B degree from the Queensland University of Technology, and a B.Bus degree, also from the Queensland University of Technology.  He is a Solicitor of the courts of Queensland, England and Wales.

Mr. Murphy is a member of the Law Society of UK, the Law Society of Queensland, the International Technology Law Association and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
