Student Writing Competition

ITechLaw holds an annual writing competition to recognize papers on information technology law topics. Please find full details here.

Our Latest Winner
Shane L Smith of Norfolk, Virginia is the winner of the 2006 Information Technology Law Writing competition, sponsored by ITechLaw, in association with the Marquette Intellectual Property Law Review. Shane’s paper is titled: "Gone in a Blink: The Overlooked Privacy Problems Caused by Contactless Payment Systems." Congratulations Shane!

The competition was open to both U.S. and International students currently enrolled in either a JD or LLM accredited law school. It recognizes the best and brightest student research papers relating to information technology law. ITechLaw thanks Denny Rice and Eric Goldman for their efforts in organizing this competition and reviewing the submissions.
