Ceylin Beyli is team leader for the IT and IP departments of the firm. Within the IP practice, Ms. Beyli has been involved in several court actions in Turkey and has counselled various foreign clients regarding their strategies, legal disputes and settlement agreements. She has counselled and represented clients before international bodies, such as WIPO.
Within the Pharmaceutical IP practice, Ms. Beyli has been involved in several court actions in Turkey, both civil and administrative, and she has conducted research on TRIPS, TBR, and EU Directives on licensing of pharmaceuticals and their administrative relation to Turkish legislations and regulations. Ms. Beyli has also been involved in regulatory activity before the Ministry of Health regarding enforcement of pharmaceutical patent rights, data protection and exclusivity.
Within the IT practice, Ms. Beyli has advised clients in relation to data protection, domain disputes, music sharing, online gaming and gambling, computer software, databases and portals.
Ms. Beyli has written and published several articles, and she has co-written books and reports on comparative studies of data protection. She also has also presented papers at conferences. Ms. Beyli is a registered attorney in the Istanbul Bar Association.
