Kevin Swan represents corporations, small businesses, non-profit entities, and school districts and other government entities in technology and intellectual property transactions, with a focus on complex licensing, development, distribution, and strategic agreements concerning computer software and hardware, technology patent licensing, e-commerce agreements, open source issues, and intellectual property aspects of corporate acquisitions.

Before joining his current firm, Mr. Swan spent over nine years with a small Seattle firm, where he worked on complex commercial, employment, and personal injury litigation, and on a variety of transactional matters.  

Mr. Swan has served as President of the Federal Bar Association of the Western District of Washington.  He is a graduate of the University of Washington Law School and the University of Oregon.
