Kiran Sandford is head of her firm's Information Technology Group. She has strong experience in all aspects of IT law, including outsourcing, software development and licensing, systems supply and procurement, data protection and privacy, digital delivery and all internet/e-business issues. She has a long track record in advising both users and suppliers of IT, and her clients range from new businesses to established multi-national companies. Much of her work involves cutting-edge business ventures, and she is often at the forefront in putting together new business models. In the past year she has worked on a number of significant IT projects within the UK and Europe and in a number of emerging markets.
Ms. Sandford is recognised as a leading individual for IT and ecommerce law in the latest edition of Legal Experts and, for IT law, in the latest Chambers & Partners legal directory. She is regularly called upon to contribute articles and views to leading publications such as e-commerce Law and Policy and Computer Weekly, and for the UK national press. She has also spoken on IT related matters on the BBC, CNN and ITV. Ms. Sandford is a member of the ITechLaw Board.
