Kurt Kappes has handled a number of trade secret cases in various U.S. Courts, and has counseled a number of Fortune 500 clients in this area.  Mr. Kappes has also published widely on this topic, and he has spoken at a number of conferences on trade secret issues.  He is a contributor to tradesecretslaw.com, a blog devoted to trade secret issues. 

Mr. Kappes holds a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University, from which he graduated in 1986.  Much of his recent focus has been on auditing trade secret protections that companies have in place.
