Eugene Weitz is presently advising CSC's Law Department on all aspects of the ongoing development, implementation and oversight of a world-class Global Law Department Knowledge Management program. This initiative covers developing a global intranet strategy as a resource for the Law Department and clients, enhancing law firm and other vendor relationship management and the creation of new means of knowledge sharing across the world. Prior CSC, he worked at Alcatel-Lucent, where he supported many internal clients relating to advanced technology law. Before Alcatel-Lucent, he was Regional General Counsel at Atos Origin, where he was responsible for all legal activities in North America and Asia-Pacific. Earlier, he provided similar in-house legal services at Royal Philips Electronics.

He is an active member of ITechLaw, serving as Chair of the In-House Lawyer/Legal Counsel Committee. Mr. Weitz is also on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association. He is a regular speaker on topics in technology law and Corporate Law Department management and maintains a blog on topics of interest to in-house counsel.

Mr. Weitz received a B.A. degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College, where he was recently nominated to serve on the alumnus advisory council to the office of admissions. He received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law (Delaware Law School). He is a member of the New York and Connecticut Bars and holds a Limited License to practice law in-house in New Jersey.
