Dr. Bartosz Sujecki

Dr. Bartosz Sujecki specializes in all aspects of intellectual property law (patent, trademark, copyright, etc.) and cross-border litigation. Before joining Arnold+Siedsma, Dr. Sujecki was an assistant professor at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam and the University of Tilburg, where he gave lectures in civil procedure and comparative private law.

He studied law at the Leibniz University, Hannover, the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and the University of Amsterdam, where he obtained a Dutch law degree. He received his PhD-from the University of Utrecht, where he also worked as a research assistant. His PhD-thesis was a comparative study on the implementation of an electronic court procedure in the Dutch legal system, which was published by the Max-Planck Institut for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, Germany.

He has published three books and more than 100 articles in German, Dutch, Polish and international legal journals on IT-law, IP-law, and cross-border litigation. Additionally, he regularly gives lectures in the field of civil procedure, international private law and IT law.
