Heidi Salow has been handling cutting-edge issues involving privacy and data security, intellectual property and e-commerce for 15 years. Ms. Salow is an experienced negotiator whose practice includes transactional work, legislative advocacy and compliance counseling. She represents clients on regulatory and public policy matters before Congress, the Administration, and federal and state agencies. She has helped numerous companies achieve compliance with a host of complex privacy, data security, intellectual property and e-commerce laws.Ms.. Salow has a great deal of experience in managing complex matters involving domestic and international privacy and data security laws. 

In addition to her privacy, data security and e-commerce experience, Ms. Salow has a great deal of experience handling trademark and copyright matters. She has worked with members of Congress and Congressional staffers, White House officials, and federal agencies such as the Department of Commerce on a number of complex intellectual property policy matters, including the Anti-Counterfeiting Trademark Agreement (ACTA) treaty and anti-piracy legislation. She regularly advises clients on digital copyright issues. Earlier in her career, Ms. Salow managed large-scale corporate piracy and anti-cybersquatting programs, litigated domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), prosecuted numerous trademark applications and defended multi-million dollar trademark litigation.
