Eugene Weitz is presently Deputy General Counsel at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) advising on information governance, including data security and data privacy and all other legal matters of interest to the Office of the CIO. Mr. Weitz concurrently leads CSC's Legal Department’s Global Legal Knowledge Management program.
Previously Mr. Weitz was a member of the Alcatel-Lucent Law Department, where he supported many internal clients relating to advanced technology law including both vendor and customer side outsourcing and professional services. Prior to Alcatel-Lucent, he was Regional General Counsel at Atos Origin. Earlier in his career he provided in-house legal services at Royal Philips Electronics.
Mr. Weitz has served on the Board of Directors of ITechLaw since May 2011 and previously had served as Chair of the In-House Lawyer/Legal Counsel Committee. Most recently he participated as co-Chair of ITechLaw’s 2012 World Technology Law Conference & Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. in May. Mr. Weitz is a regular speaker on topics in technology law and corporate law department management.
