Oana Dolea is a licensed practitioner in Canada, where she is a member of the Quebec and Ontario bars, and has obtained approval to join the Barreau de Paris. A graduate of Canada’s McGill Faculty of Law, Ms. Dolea has strong substantive knowledge and practical experience in diverse aspects of intellectual property law, especially copyright, and has a wide range of commercial, corporate and advisory work experience in relation to data protection, e-commerce and various information technology projects.
Ms. Dolea has been involved with ITechLaw for two years, previously presenting on mobile e-commerce and privacy at this year’s ITechLaw Annual Conference & Meeting in Washington D.C.
Ms. Dolea has a strong interest in the European market and has previously spent time in Rome as a legal intern, prior to working for the past three years in Montreal and Toronto. She is fluent in English, French, and Romanian, and used her time in Rome to perfect her Italian and indulge her love of Italian culture.
