Nancy Cleman

Nancy Cleman is a lawyer and trade mark agent with the firm of Sternthal Katznelson Montigny. She provides legal advice and consulting services to a variety of corporate and commercial clients, with a focus on intellectual property, information technology and entertainment law.
Ms. Cleman holds B.Sc., B.C.L and LL. degrees from McGill University and is a member of the Québec Bar (1983) and the Law Society of Upper Canada (1990) in 2009 she became certified as a commercial mediator. Prior to joining SKM worked for several years as in-house counsel to Autodesk Inc (Discreet Logic) and was a partner in a major Canadian law firm.
Ms. Cleman is active in community work and has and continues to serve on a number of Boards and committees, she is a councillor of the Bar of Montreal and a member of the Data Access committee of CARTaGENE. She has spoken at various conferences on topics including business issues for entrepreneurs and licensing and protecting intellectual property.
