Daniel Ruecker
Associated Partner, Noerr LLP; Munich, Germany

Daniel Ruecker is an Associated Partner in the Munich office of Noerr LLP, and specializes in Information Technology Law. He heads the firms Data Protection Law Group and the firm’s E-Commerce Group.

One focus of his work in data protection and IT security law is international exchange and transfer of personal data, in particular within group structures, including all other related issues in the field of IT-compliance. Other areas of Daniel’s work are IT-contracts e.g. for software licensing, IT-projects and outsourcing as well as other IT-services like cloud services and software as a service.

Mr. Ruecker is an author of numerous books and other legal publications and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences in IT- and Data Protection law. Furthermore, he is a lecturer for Data Protection and IT-Security Law at the University of Passau (Germany). He was educated at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and at the University of New South Wales, Sydney (Australia).
