Charles Lee Mudd Jr. has operated his own law firm, Mudd Law Offices, since 2001. The firm has grown to become an internationally recognized diversified practice providing representation to a clientele comprised of local, national, and international individuals and business organizations, particularly focused on Internet and emerging technology issues.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Mudd worked for Cummings & Lockwood, practicing in its commercial litigation and emerging technologies groups. He has been significantly involved in Internet and technology-related transactional matters and litigation throughout the United States at both the trial and appellate levels. He has also been involved in drafting legislation seeking amendments to the Illinois eavesdropping statute as well as other Internet related matters.
Mr. Mudd obtained his B.A. in philosophy (1990) and M.A. in political science (1994) from Purdue University, and obtained his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law (1997). He was admitted to the following state Bars Indiana (1997), Illinois (1998),Connecticut (2000), and Utah (2007).
