Belén Arribas heads the Information Technology Law Department of her firm.  She specializes in a variety of IT contracts, e-commerce, outsourcing, data protection and other technology law matters; she also advises clients in company and commercial law, competition and consumer law and private international law; she has been appointed arbitrator in a number or IT cases.

Ms. Arribas graduated with a doctorate in International Law from the University of Barcelona; she post-graduated from the first program specialized in IT Law in ESADE. She also holds a postgraduate degree in EC and International Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen in The Netherlands. 

Ms. Arribas is featured as Internet and Privacy law specialist in the 2012 International Who’s Who of Internet, E-Commerce and Data Protection, Business Lawyers.  She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and a member of its Advisory Group of International Relations.  She is a member of ITechlaw’s Board of Directors, Co-Chair of the I-WINN Committee, member of the E-Commerce Committee and the Arbitration and Mediation Committee; she co-chaired the planning committee of the Conference in Barcelona, 2008.
