Jaime R. Ángeles specializes in corporate law and Intellectual Property Law, especially for the IT/e-commerce, including unfair competition and a vast litigation experience in these fields. He advises clients that include worldwide leading Information Technologies and Entertainment companies, as well as start-ups, national and international companies.

Mr. Ángeles has published articles on IP and IT, for UNESCO and other international and national publications. He has written and presented essays and papers on intellectual property, commercial legislation and electronic commerce and has been panelists in several international conferences, including organized by the ITechLaw Association, US Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Ángeles is the former president of Dominican Association of Intellectual Property. He is a member of the Board of Directors of ITechlaw. He co-chairs the Copyright Committee in in ASIPI (Interamerican Intellectual Property Association) and in INTA, he is part of the Internet Committee. He has been considered by Chambers and Partners as the leading IP attorney in the Dominican Republic for the last 3 years.
