Bio:
Peter Brown is one of the managing partners of Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Hartford and Morristown. He concentrates his practice on a variety of matters relating to intellectual property, trademarks, copyrights, patents and computer law, including litigation in various state and federal courts, and arbitrations, in addition to negotiation of agreements relating to intellectual property and computer technology. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law. Mr. Brown is currently the Vice Chairman of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Chairman of its Intellectual Property Litigation Committee. For over a decade, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Technology Law Association. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He served as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Law at Dartmouth College from 1984-1988. He is the former Co-Chairman of the Computer Litigation Committee of the ABA. He has co-authored Emerging Technologies and the Law: Forms and Analysis and Computer Law: Drafting and Negotiating Forms and Agreements, both published by the Law Journal Seminars-Press.
