Bio:
Dr. Oliver M. Habel was born in Dortmund on September 8, 1956 and is a law graduate of Munich University (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet Muenchen). Following his second state exam in 1985, he wrote his thesis on the subject of "Software / Copyright / Protection of Industrial Rights". He has worked as an attorney since 1985 and was also employed as commercial lawyer in industry. In this capacity he spent some time working abroad in the USA and other countries. Oliver Habel works in his own law firm teclegal Habel Rechtsanwaelte.

Oliver Habel has authored various publications on IT and copyright law as well as on technical and IT project business.
