Bio:
Francesco is a partner of law firm Portolano Colella Cavallo in Rome, which he co-founded in 2001.

He advises Media industry clients on regulatory issues, commercial contracts and corporate deals, focusing on convergence issues, such as TV and on-line games and gaming, call TV, internet exploitation of audiovisual content, transactional television, T-commerce and M-commerce, etc.

Francesco has been leading counsel on several corporate transactions involving Italian media companies and has worked on content distribution, licensing and acquisition agreements, digital distribution of audiovisual content, etc.

He teaches "New Television Content" at the Master on Film Art Management of University La Sapienza of Rome and is adjunct faculty of "M&A in a European Context" with the John Marshall Law School of Chicago. He graduated, cum laude, from LUISS School of Law in Rome, Italy in 1991 and holds a Masters Degree from the Law School of the University Of Chicago.
