Bio:
David Perkins heads Milbank's Intellectual Property Practice in London. Prior to joining Milbank, he spent 31 years at Clifford Chance, 27 as a partner, where he founded and headed its Intellectual Property Practice in Europe.

His practice involves multi-jurisdiction patent and trademark litigation and related anti-trust issues. He also handles Oppositions and Appeals before the European Patent Office, Munich and references to the European Court of Justice, Luxembourg.

He is a member of the UK Government's Intellectual Property Advisory Committee [IPAC]; a Council Member of the Intellectual Property Institute [IPI]; a founding member of The Intellectual Property Lawyers Organisation [TIPLO]; a WIPO Arbitrator; and a member of all major international intellectual property associations.

He is the author of very many publications, articles and conference papers on various aspects of intellectual property law and is a frequent participant at international intellectual property conferences.
