Bio:
Diana J. P. McKenzie is chair of Neal Gerber Eisenberg's Information Technology Practice Group. Diana has a nationwide practice focused on providing practical and strategic legal advice to clients on significant technology, privacy and security, HIPAA, and electronic commerce transactions.


Diana has limited her practice to information technology law since 1987. Her experience includes virtually every type of information technology contract. She is known for providing practical and strategic solutions. A partial list of recent technology contracts includes a wide variety of: outsourcing, business process outsourcing, ASP, expand systems integration, strategic alliance, web hosting, electronic commerce, acquisition, license, development, and service agreements. She also has extensive experience with HIPAA compliance and other issues unique to the health care technology industry. Diana has represented clients in some of the largest technology transactions in the country.


Diana is a nationally recognized writer on technology and electronic commerce law, having published over 40 articles in publications such as the Stanford Journal of Law, Business & Finance, The Licensing Journal, Computerworld, National Law Journal, and The Computer and Internet Lawyer. She is an internationally recognized speaker on technology and electronic commerce law, having presented over 100 speeches in 38 cities and 11 countries. Diana has a background in computer programming.


Diana serves in a leadership role in Neal Gerber Eisenberg's Women's Network, a key component to the firm's Diversity Committee, and is very active in supporting and enhancing opportunities available to women in the law profession. She is also active in several other key committees for the firm.
