Susannah Sheppard advises on all aspects of EU and UK competition law. She has particular expertise in the relationship between IP and competition law, standardization policy and technology, and she launched the firm's Competition and Regulatory Practice.
Ms. Sheppard has considerable experience in both the public and private sector, having worked for the European Commission (on standardization policy and technical trade barriers), the UK Cabinet Office and the European Court of Justice before going into private practice. Prior to joining Kemp Little LLP, she worked for a number of clients directly as a consultant and she was a Competition and Regulatory partner at a major city law firm.
Qualifying as a barrister in England and later converting to a solicitor, she gained her law degree from Oxford University (LLM Hons.) and a Maîtrise in International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She also has a post-graduate diploma in economics for competition law from King’s College London.
