Stefan Schicker advises national and international clients, especially in the areas of Internet and e-commerce law and Intellectual Property (trademarks, patents, designs, unfair competition). He supports businesses with the development and legally valid design of online projects, social media and marketing activities, the development and structuring of trademark portfolios, compliance in respect to data protection, and the integration of e-payment as well as unfair competition matters.
Mr. Schicker has been repeatedly voted by Who‘s Who Legal International as one of the leading attorneys in Germany in the field of Internet, e-Commerce & Data Protection. As a member of the board and head of the legal affairs group of the Federal Association of Service-Providers for Online-Merchants (BDOA e.V.) he has strong connections to the firms in this area and continuously develops new and practical solutions for complex problems.
His previous experience includes working as an attorney in an international law firm of patent attorneys and German attorneys at law. He has also provided advice for various businesses in respect to integration of online media, and he has solid programming experience through planning and implementation of various Internet projects. He received a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Litigation from Nottingham Trent University in the UK.
