André Meillassoux is an attorney specializing in information technology and intellectual property transactions and disputes. He currently chairs the French Computer & Telecom Law Association (AFDIT) and is an ITechLaw local representative for France. He is a past president of the IFCLA (International Federation of Computer Law Associations).
He was a founding partner of a French-German law firm in Paris, Breitenstein Meillassoux Hauser (BMH Avocats) and since 2008 has been with ATM AVOCATS, a niche law firm specializing in IP, IT and media law. He advises French and foreign companies on matters regarding their computing, Internet, databases and technology-related contracts. He speaks at conferences and gives post-graduate-courses in IT contractual techniques, notably with Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature (School for the Judiciary), Ecole Centrale de Paris (a French engineering school) and the ESSEC (a French business school).
