Sandra A. Jeskie
Sandra A. Jeskie has a diverse national practice focused on business and technology-based litigation, including commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, software litigation, e-commerce, and Internet law. She has served as a court-appointed Special Master in several cases involving technology and e-discovery and is a neutral arbitrator for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a specialized agency of the United Nations. She is also the immediate past President of the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw), Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Business Law section, co-chair of Duane Morris' Information Technology and Telecom practice group and chair of the firm's e-discovery committee.
Ms. Jeskie has litigated complex commercial, intellectual property and information technology disputes in state and federal courts and before arbitrators. Leveraging her more than 16 years of experience as a computer scientist, Ms. Jeskie also negotiates and drafts service agreements and content Internet-related agreements. She has handled numerous security and data breaches and also counsels clients on privacy, security policies and practices, and systems development projects, e-discovery and document retention.
Ms. Jeskie has taught at dozens of professional education conferences in numerous cities in the United States and around the world, has appeared as a guest on several television programs and is quoted in numerous publications. She is also a co-author of chapters in the acclaimed treatise Business and Commercial Litigation in Federal Courts, The Woman Advocate and Inside the Minds. In addition, she was named a BTI Client Service All-Star for "delivering the absolute best client service." Ms. Jeskie has been listed in Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel Edition and was recognized in the International Who's Who of Internet and e-Commerce Lawyers.
Ms. Jeskie earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, magna cum laude. She graduated with an M.B.A. from LaSalle University, where she also earned her B.A. in computer science.
