Belén Arribas heads the Information Technology Law Department of her firm. She specializes in a variety of IT contracts, e-commerce, outsourcing, data protection and other technology law matters; she also advises international and local clients in company and commercial law, competition and consumer law and private international law.

She graduated from the University of Barcelona, where she did doctoral studies in International Law. She also did post-graduate studies in the first program specializing in IT Law in ESADE. She holds a postgraduate degree in EC and International Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen in The Netherlands.

Belén Arribas lectures in IT and contract law-related matters at ICAB, IFAES, UNED, IDI and other international institutions. She is the author and co-author of a number of articles and publications in e-commerce, IP, data protection and privacy, IT and contract law issues. 

She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and a member of its Advisory Group of International Relations. She is a member of the ITechLaw Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Arbitration and Mediation Committee; she co-chaired the planning committee of the ITechLaw conference in Barcelona in 2008. She is also a member of the ITechLaw E-Commerce Committee and the I-WIN Committee.
