As the world's pre-eminent innovator and originator of gracious social dining, The Waldorf Astoria New York has been a beacon of hospitality since it first welcomed guests over a century ago. Join your colleagues for this special Welcome Reception being held in the John Jacob Astor Salon. The Salon was named in honor of one of the wealthiest men in America in the early 19th century, John Jacob Astor by his grandson John Jacob Astor IV. John Jacob Astor IV was the founder and inspiration behind the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, a New York legend and sadly a non-surviving passenger of the Titanic, and named the room in honor of his grandfather. Attendees are invited to step back in time to this historic and breathtaking venue where you can reconnect with friends and colleagues and make new connections.
