Be an ITechLaw Leader!
Annually, ITechLaw seeks dedicated members to serve in committee leadership roles, and starting this year, in 2020, we are creating a new structure for our committees to include a new role of Committee Member. Each committee will have a Chair, Vice-Chair, and Immediate Past Chair in addition to 6-9 selected Committee Members. This new role of Committee Member will take a more active role in implementing committee activities throughout the year to include launching new initiatives, launching online meet-ups, and contributing content to webinars.
The current committees include:
Substantive Law:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Cybercrime
- Data Protection Law
- Dispute Resolution
- Intellectual Property Law
- Interactive Entertainment and Media
- Startup
- Tech Mergers & Acquisitions
- Technology Sourcing
Program Committee:
- Asia-Pacific Conferences
- European Conferences
- North American Conferences
Membership Committee:
- I-WIN (Women’s Networking)
- In-House Counsel
- Latin America Regional
- Young Lawyers
One of our leaders shared the following about serving in a leadership role on a committee "Running an ITechLaw Committee is not just about leadership, it is about organizing a home for collaboration amongst experts who share common experiences, goals and sometimes, problems. The In-House Committee prides itself on its commitment to serving in-house counsel members through information sharing and being a conduit to leverage the vast resources within ITechLaw."
