ITechLaw Local Representatives Committee

Welcome to the ITechLaw Local Representatives Committee. The primary duty of the ITechLaw Local Representatives is to maintain and increase membership in their respective countries, through communication with national members and exchanging ideas on topics of common interest. The Local Representatives are also responsible for organizing roundtable events in their countries.

The current list of our national Local Representatives is available online: ITechLaw Local Representatives.  There are many countries and positions available.  If you are a current ITechLaw member and would like to become a national Local Representative, please send an email detailing your interest in becoming a Local Representative and ways you intend to increase membership in your country, along with a brief bio to the LR Committee Chair  and Vice-Chair for consideration.  Appointments will be made for a 1 year term, with an opportunity to serve for a maximum of 2 years.

The ITechLaw Local Representative Committee typically meets at each ITechLaw conference, and holds occasional interim meetings between conferences. Please check this page, the ITechLaw eNews and contact the chairs for information on upcoming meetings.

Soliciting Local Representative Nominations
We are pleased to announce that the Local Representative Committee will be led this year by Stephane Lemarchand of Paris, as Chair and Robert Weiss of Chicago, as Vice-Chair.  We are currently seeking nominations for our national Local Representatives, a very important role because the Local Representatives represent their individual countries at ITechLaw and featured on ITechLaw’s website.
