Welcome to I-WIN, the ITechLaw Women's International Network.
The International
Technology Law Association invites you to learn
more about I-WIN, the ITechLaw Women’s
International Network. This committee supports the
unique interests and needs of women in the field
of technology law around the world.
We are very excited about this project and are
actively recruiting interested members from both
ITechLaw and the tech law community at large.
Currently a mere 16%
of ITechLaw’s members are women. On a global scale
this does not reflect the actual gender
distribution of attorneys or engineers working on
computer, Internet, and other high technology
matters. I-WIN was formed to help increase
representation of women within ITechLaw’s
membership.
I-WIN actively seeks to recruit new women
technology lawyers.
I-WIN provides resources that women can use
in their practice or improve their career.
I-WIN will arrange special opportunities
for networking and sharing benefits of the
association. This includes launching a specialized
email list serv dedicated to I-WIN members and
holding meetings at conferences.
We are keen to identify and reach out to women
technology lawyers who are not currently members
of ITechLaw and make them aware of its many
benefits.
Thank you for your interest in I-WIN and your
assistance in promoting this important committee
with your colleagues.
