Marc S. Friedman is a Member of the Firm and Chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Mr. Friedman brings with him more than thirty years' experience, focusing on complex intellectual property and business matters, and intellectual property and technology litigation, including electronic commerce, patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret matters. Mr. Friedman is a Past-President of ITechLaw.

Mr. Friedman helped pioneer information technology law more than twenty-five years ago when he won the landmark case of Chatlos Systems v. NCR Corporation, one of the most important developments in the history of information technology law.

Mr. Friedman has also successfully litigated large national class actions, securities cases, professional malpractice cases, breach of contract and Uniform Commercial Code suits, fraud cases, pension matters, minority stockholder suits and estate matters. He also has litigated Lanham Act matters and provided counseling.

Mr. Friedman has published over 100 articles and is the co-author of A Vendor's Guide to Computer Contracting, a widely read treatise. Mr. Friedman frequently lectures throughout North America, South America, Europe and Australia, and at several law schools throughout the United States. Mr. Friedman also chairs the annual "IP Summit" and "Intellectual Property for the General Practitioner" programs sponsored by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

He was selected for inclusion in the 2007 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, the 2006 edition of Chambers USA and the 2006 edition of New Jersey Super Lawyers.
